Civil/Coastal Engineer

The ideal candidate will support the firms’ effort to apply sustainable design to natural and made coastal, riverine, and aquatic environments. Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Technical expertise: Waterfront structure and marine infrastructure project interest/training, including harbors, marinas, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads and seawalls, breakwaters and shore protection structures, shoreline stabilization and sediment management.
  • Contribute to project teams from conceptual design to detailed final design.
  • Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, engineering reports, other technical documents.
  • Conduct field work including surveying and construction observation.
  • Responsibilities can include site visits and evaluation, concept/solution development, coordination across disciplines, document production, data/spreadsheet management, construction administration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Coastal, Environmental, Ocean, Structural/Geotechnical Engineering.
  • EIT/PE License track required.
  • AutoCAD or Civil 3D experience required.
  • Construction oversight experience desirable.
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America.
