Navy Pier Marina

Completed for the 2025 boating season, the new Navy Pier marina taps into the prime location integrated into Chicago’s top tourist destination. Through significant coordination with the City, related state and local agencies, and Navy Pier Inc., the Edgewater team was able to complete design and permitting for a new transient marina. Transient boaters can now dock directly alongside Navy Pier, located in the heart of the Chicago waterfront. This 100% transient marina, positioned on Navy Pier’s northern edge, will feature 132 boat slips ranging from 26 to over 100 feet, totaling 6,460 feet of flexible broadside dock space. This initiative targets a growing market, including visiting superyachts, catalyzing economic growth in the region. Additional amenities such as boater services, showers, lockers, and a public waterfront promenade will enhance the visiting boaters’ experience.
