The ideal candidate will support the firms’ effort to apply sustainable design to natural and made coastal, riverine, and aquatic environments. Technical expertise: Waterfront structure and marine infrastructure project interest/training, including harbors, marinas, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads and seawalls, breakwaters and shore protection structures, shoreline stabilization and sediment management.
Contribute to project teams from conceptual design to detailed final design.
Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, engineering reports, other technical documents.
Conduct field work including surveying and construction observation.
Responsibilities can include site visits and evaluation, concept/solution development, coordination across disciplines, document production, data/spreadsheet management, construction administration.
