Hells Gate

This project, sited in a unique location in Ada County, Idaho, included a multi-phased replacement of concrete floating docks that had met the end of their usable life. The docking systems were replaced by steel-framed floating docks with functional gratings to meet the light penetration requirements of the permitting agencies. Phase 1 included the replacement of 39 slips along with new modern utility systems. Access to the docks was reconfigured and designed to be compliant with current ADA standards for accessibility. Edgewater performed preliminary design, permitting, final design, bidding assistance, and construction administration assistance to the Owner for this project. Phase 1 was completed in 2024 with Phase 2 progressing in 2025.
